HGVTV WANTS YOU AND YOUR HOME

Hello,
My name is Nicole Ford and I am a casting producer for a brand new home makeover show for HGTV. I was looking at your site and thought that you may know some colorful families that need help with home organization and design.

Right now we are casting an ambitious new show and we are looking for large families that need help with re-organizing their home and renovating it but have trouble figuring out where to start. I thought that your members could be just what we are looking for: families that would like to get lives organized while revamping their home.

This is going to be a great opportunity for the right family. Please call me or send me your contact info and I will call you. I would love to talk with you more about the show.

: )
Best,
Nicole

Please Help Save 35 Weybosset

Below is a call to action from some of our East Side neighbors askiug for citywide support to stand up for the Downcity building.

Please help!  Our efforts to prevent the destruction of the Providence National Bank facade at 35 Weybosset Street have resulted in the tabling of the developer's request for demolition, but we need a strong turnout at the next Downcity Design Review Committee (DRC) meeting to ensure that the city insists on a creative solution that preserves an integral part of the downtown streetscape.

For more information, read this Providence Journal article by David Brussat: http://tinyurl.com/y9539an

Please help save the facade by attending the DRC meeting at 4:45 PM on Monday, December 14, at the Department of Planning and Development, 400 Westminster Street, 4th Floor Auditorium.  If you can't, please forward this message to anyone who may be interested and e-mail Christopher Ise (cise@providenceri.com) of the DRC and Robert Azar (razar@providenceri.com), Director of Current Planning, to share your concerns.  Thank you!

Hello Census Partners.

There are only 4 1/2 months left until the Census questionnaire arrives in every mailbox in the State of RI and we are working hard to ensure that everyone is counted.

To that end, I want to ask that you pass the word that we have begun Census employment testing again.   The test is a 30 min basic skills test that all prospective employees must pass.  The jobs are all temporary full/part-time employment with the majority beginning in March/April (some may begin earlier.)

To schedule a test, please call: 866-861-2010.  Do not call me!!! :)

For additional information about Census employment, please visit this link:

http://2010.census.gov/2010censusjobs/

If you would like additional information about the testing process, including a test prep guide, please email me.
