we will be open this Thursday (tonight) from 4 to 7, and this Sunday from 12 to 4.
 
This afternoon, chase those rainy blues away (how bout those strong winds last night!) with a Grilled Cheese & Fresh Tomato Soup, served up with a Yacht Club soda for $6.25.  We'll also be cruising for a juicing, with a Carrot Ginger blend. 
   
   We are steadily building our stock, and would like to remind you that these farmer's markets are a special chance this month for visitors to get to know some of the folks growing the foods, so when you see them on the shelf next month, you'll have a fuller sense of the people behind the process. 

  We are currently offering a fine sampling of RI's best produce, dairy goods, and choice proteins.  New orders from local producers like Narragansett Creamery, Rhody Fresh, Wishing Stone Farm & RI Nurseries, showing a much wider variety of seasonal produce.  Solid but minor additions to our grocery section but look out because there's two big orders coming in next week.  Now we've got milk & eggs,(local) and we're kicking more fridges on all the time so just watch that grow.  You may begin your countdown to eggnog. 

While we are filling up the store with local fresh groceries, we would like to invite you to join us every Thursday and Sunday in December for Fertile Underground Holiday Creations family fun!  This Sunday we will have ceramics artist Marley Rogers in the store with a 'glaze-your-own' pre-fired ceramic ornaments workshop from 12 to 4.  Come down, bring the kids, make some locally-inspired art to either take home or donate to the store.
