Neighbors are invited to attend a specially scheduled WBNA Community Development Committee (CDC) meeting this Monday, October 15, from 6-8pm at WBNA Headquarters, to review two new neighborhood development projects that have just come to our attention.
WBNA has scheduled this meeting so that neighbors and WBNA may review a project proposed for 473 Washington Street before its hearing at the October 16 City Plan Commission (CPC) meeting (agenda here), as well as a project proposed for the lot at Messer and Hudson Streets before it is heard at the Providence Historic District Commission (HDC) meeting on October 22.

Developers came before the WBNA CDC in October 2017 for a new residential construction project on the corner of Hudson and Messer Streets. The project proposes two 3-story buildings with 3 units each and a total of 6 parking spaces on the lot. A revised design from the 2017 scheme was presented to the Providence Historic District Commission on September 24, 2018. Neighbors, the Providence Preservation Society and the WBNA testified with comments. The HDC strongly encouraged the developers to present their project to the WBNA
