Join the Providence Neighborhood Planting Program, City Forester Doug Still and other neighbors in planting 29 TREES in and around Dexter Training Ground as part of our 2018 Spring Cleanup activities.
This family friendly event starts at 8am with a planting demonstration at 113 Parade Street. Volunteers then break into groups to plant 29 new trees around the park. Never planted a tree before? No experience is necessary – you'll get lots of help and support along the way while having fun and greening the neighborhood!
Please dress for dirt! Wear boots or sturdy footwear and gloves – no open-toed shoes or bare hands. And, if you have them, bring these tools: shovel, pruning shears, sharp knife or scissors, small saw, and broom (and be sure to label them).
Direct any questions and RSVP (appreciated but not necessary) to Rod at firstname.lastname@example.org or 401-831-9344 (M-Th).
