WBNA House Tour: Creative Conversions

  • Welcome Center, Hmong Church 46 Dexter Street Providence, RI, 02909 United States (map)

Long abandoned church.
Victorian firehouse.
Lightning splitter.

Explore these Creative Conversions and more during the West Broadway Neighborhood Association’s Annual House Tour, presented in partnership this year with Providence Preservation Society (PPS).

Creative Conversions highlights fantastic transformations of historic structures, as well as creatively reimagined spaces, artist studios, and urban gardens on Providence’s West Side.

Located within a neighborhood pocket tucked along the Cranston Street Armory, this self-guided walking tour is open to the public and is family friendly, with discounts available for students and seniors. Enjoy the tour at your own pace as you step inside these private homes and hidden gardens designed by artists and makers and nestled between Hammond and Harrison streets.

Get a FREE ticket to the House Tour when you volunteer! After your shift (which is fun, we promise!), wander the many captivating spaces of this year’s tour. We welcome both new and experienced volunteers to lend a hand. Click here to fill out the volunteer sign up form, or learn more here.

Purchase tickets in advance for a 20 percent discount! Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 day-of.  For students, seniors, and military persons, tickets are $15 in advance, $20 day-of. Children under 12 can take the tour for free when accompanied by an adult.

Advance ticket sales end at 9pm on Friday, October 5. You can purchase tickets at the Welcome Center (46 Dexter Street) starting at 9:30am on Tour Day, Saturday, October 6.
