Annual Call for Street Captains

Want Your Street Cleaned?
Become a Street Captain!

WBNA's Annual Neighborhood Cleanup relies on the organizing power of street captains. Street captains are neighbors like you who help organize the clean up of a specific street or streets with fellow volunteers during our Annual Spring Cleanup. Because captains can change from year to year, we always need more! Click on the button below to quickly and easily sign up to be a street captain.

Being a street captain is an opportunity to help make a difference on the very street you live. Most of us have had the experience of passing the same junky corner near our home week after week, or the unused lot nearby that has become an unfortunate dumping ground for various trash, or the stretch of sidewalk that seems to collect every broken bottle or dog poo pile or litter/weed entanglement or all of the above.

Here's your chance to not only do something about it, but to work with a team of other neighbors to make it better in one day!

As a captain you'll be invited to the street captain's party where you'll meet other volunteers, pick up flyers, and get all the info you need for a successful Cleanup day (don't worry – it's easy). Street captain party details will be emailed to you when you sign up.

Along with the benefit of beautifying our community, being a street captain is a great way to get to know your neighbors.
